In Washington, I was planting a seed. Jace, my next door neighbor, said, "How does a seed grow?" "I dig a hole. I plant a seed in soil. Seeds need soil, water, and sun," I said. "Wouldn't that kill the plant?" asked Jace. "No." "Oh." "Plants and seeds need sunshine, moisture from rainfall, and--" I started. "So bo?" Jace interrupted. "Stop rhyming with 'O'!" I complained. "Now, where was I?" "Clouds," Jace said. "No!" I said. "No, I want to know about clouds." "Okay. Clouds are water droplets. It's getting foggy. We should go inside. Air."
And that's how the story ends. The teacher wrote that I should "have an ending to a story, please." |
