One day, my family, my cousins, and I were camping at the wetlands. All the tents were up. There were tall grasses, swamps, and bogs all around us. The bog was 7¾ feet deep. Bogs and swamps are habitats to dragonflies, blue herons, ducks, and beavers. They are all cute. I like camping. Yesterday, we were at the beach. The tide was very high. Well, anyway, we're at the wetlands. My cousin, Shelly, liked ecosystems. She always studied them. My dad has a purification kit. He used it so we didn't have to drink salt marsh. Around, there were nurseries for different plants. My sister saw a sign. She said, "Brandon! This sign says, 'Flood Control!'." I said, "That's impossible. Signs don't talk." Then I was looking at how shallow a mud puddle was. It was 1¼ feet deep. The wetlands are a nice environment. |
